From the above agenda came the following decisions:
1. Jean Webster volunteered to create the lists for Grand March and Prom registration (two copies, one for JMB, one for SU)
2. Sandy Carpenter volunteered to count the ballots for King/Queen and also to be in charge of securing the sashes, etc for Prom. Additionally, she will be in charge of the winners at Prom, leading them to get their pictures taken as well as escorting them to be announced.
3. Bill and Sandy Carpenter, Katelyn Defiore, Leah Carpenter and I will lay out the floor so that it can "rest" on Friday, May 13. We are hoping that the gym class can roll it up first period on Monday, May 16.
4. Mrs. Birch will e-mail Buddy Gattis with concerns for Grand March (tables, air conditioning, etc.). Also will e-mail Heather Martin about the sound in the gym. Will also take care of all the requests of the Grand March committee.
5. There will be 3 "belly dancers" from Casey Flanagan's dance studio who will perform from 8:00 - 9:00 during the Prom.
6. All tasks for the Grand March committee and Gift committee (items #9 and #10 on the agenda) were finished.
7. Seniors present (only officer was Leah) divided the names to write thank you letters. Eun Yea Choi, Katelyn Defiore, Casey Flanagan, Paige Curtis
8. Seniors present made the final decision on food: fresh vegetable tray, fruit tray with yogurt dip, spinach dip with bread cubes, mozzarella sticks. This is in addition to the chocolate fountain.
9. Next meeting: Monday, May 16
10. Last meeting: Monday, June 6 to reconcile the senior account, distribute any remaining funds, evaluate the Prom and make recommendations/suggestions for next year.
